INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS* Applications and supporting credentials for prospective international students must be received by April 15 for fall semester enrollment or September 15 for spring semester. *Some programs have special application deadlines. Application: Each applicant must submit a completed application with the appropriate nonrefundable application fee. Applications must be received by the specified deadline based on desired program and entry term. 2. Official Transcripts: Applicants must submit official transcript(s) (sent directly to the Graduate School from the issuing institution) from all institutions attended for undergraduate and graduate work. All applicants must have a baccalaureate degree. 3. Standardized Test Scores: Most graduate programs require an official score on a standardized test (GRE, GMAT, MAT, PRAXIS, etc.). To determine which test is required for your program of interest, go to www.winthrop.edu/graduateschool/programs, click on the program and then choose admission requirements; or, contact the Graduate School. 4. Preparation: Applicants should have demonstrated adequate academic preparation in their proposed area of study. Those with deficiencies in academic preparation may be required to take additional work to strengthen their backgrounds. 5. Additional program-specific requirements: Some graduate degree programs have additional requirements such as letters of recommendation, a writing sample, additional test scores, experience, an audition or personal interview, etc. It is important to submit all required credentials. Approval for Admission: Each applicant for admission to a degree program must have the approval of the college in which the student’s area of specialization is located.
