CLEP Exams and Course Equivalents
2014-2015
CLEP exams help students save money, save time, and achieve their college goals. Developed by the College Board, CLEP is the most
widely accepted credit-by-examination program, available at more than 2,900 colleges and universities. By achieving passing scores
on CLEP exams, students can earn college credit, accelerating their education and placing into the right classes. COD is a national

+This exam is not directly equivalent to any specific course; however, there is considerable similarity of content in a number of COD science courses with this exam.
Because this similarity of content exists, it will not be possible to duplicate credit.
All CLEP testing is administered by appointment. CLEP charges $80 per exam, and COD charges a
$30 administration fee. DANTES funds CLEP exams for eligible military service members and eligible civilian
