Reading Workshop- Fantastic Mr. Fox, making a timeline to help us
remember what has happened in Fantastic Mr. Fox, 3 ways to read a
book (look at the pictures, read the words, retell the story), what
does read to self look like? (quiet, stay in 1 spot, eyes on your book,
read the whole time), Growing Vegetable Soup, Biographies of Famous
Americans, 3 Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig, where to find books
and how to put them away in our classroom library

Writing Workshop – Library Mouse, Rocket Writes A Story,
brainstorm ideas to write about, began writing our own stories using
blank books, sharing our writing, Friday letter to Mom and Dad
!
Word Study - star of the day, student interviews, making new words
with the letters of our names, formal spelling inventory assessments

Math - Anno’s Counting Book, “Roll And Record Addition”, 7 Beans/
Trains (combinations to make 7), Tikki Tikki Tembo, Rich Problem: Tikki
vs. Chrysanthemum, “Peas and Carrots” (combinations of numbers),

represent the United States, I Pledge Allegiance, creating our own
