Parent-Teacher Conferences
I am looking forward to meeting with you

packed conference schedule and will try my
very best to start and end each conference
on time. I thank you in advance for being

Harvest Parties!
Scottish Corners students will have Harvest
Parties on Thursday, October 29th. The students
will participate in a parade and then have a party
in the classroom. Students should wear regular
clothes to school and can bring their costumes in
a bag. Shortly before the parade the students
will be able to put on their costumes. In most
cases, students should be able to put their
costume on over their normal clothes. If this is
impossible, however, students will be allowed to
change in the restroom.
AM Class Details: The morning class will get to
participate in a kindergarten costume parade through
the lower and upper floors of Scottish Corners. The
parade will start around 10:45am. Upon return to our
classroom, the students will enjoy a Harvest Party until
11:45am. Please contact the AM Harvest Party
coordinator, Amy Licata, if you would like to help with
the party.
PM Class Details: The afternoon class will participate in
a whole school costume parade to Brookdale Muirfield
Retirement Home. Weather permitting, the parade will
start around 2:15pm. Upon return to our classroom, the
students will enjoy a Harvest Party until 3:30pm. Please
contact the PM room parent coordinator, Marcie Gagnon,
if you would like to help with the party.

Author Visit – Steve Harpster
Steve Harpster visited SCE this week and was a
huge hit with the kindergartners! Steve’s passion
is to encourage kids to imagine and create through
drawing. The students brought clipboards, paper,
and pencils to the assembly and had fun drawing.
Each drawing started with a number or a letter
and turned into something awesome. Check him

tell you about drawing with Steve Harpster!
