Digits How To:
Do Your Homework
1. Log on to your Digits account at http://mymathuniverse.com/digitsSNP
2. Select LOG IN TO digits near the bottom left hand corner.
3. Put in your login name - 21lastname_firstname and password –
firstname’sfirstinitialstudentid
4. Select To Do
5. On the To Do screen you should see any outstanding assignments you need
to complete. Click
on the right hand side of the screen.
6. You will see a screen that looks similar to this:
a. Here is a description of each section.
i. 1 is where the question is located.
ii.
2 is where the options for multiple choice questions are
located. Not all questions are multiple choice.
iii.
3 is an area with a lot of helpful tools.
1. Help Me Solve This – will lead you step-by-step through
solving the question.
2. View an Example – will take you step-by-step through a
similar problem.
3. Glossary – enables you to look up vocabulary words.
4. Math Tools – opens up a lot of helpful tools including
place value blocks, calculator, number line, area models
and more.
5. Print – this enables you to print your homework. This
can be very useful if you need to finish your homework
where you don’t have computer access. You can work
out the answers and enter them into Digits later on!

4 enables you to enter different types of answers and to
select operation symbols.
v.5 enables you to work on problems out of order and to return
to problems later.
vi.
6 you have to select check answer for every problem or
Digits won’t let you move to the next problem. If you don’t do
well on a problem and you want a similar question to practice
on you can select
to try a similar problem
with different numbers.
vii.
7 gives you an overview of how you are doing; which
problems are correct, which problems are wrong, and which
problems you haven’t completed.

When you are done with your homework hit SAVE!
