In Class Last Week
In Math Workshop, we worked on
making 10 to add and adding three
numbers. In Working with Words,
we worked with the -ot chunk. In
Writers’ Workshop,
the students practiced writing
persuasive letters. In Reader’s
Workshop we looked at making text
to text connections while reading. In
Social Studies,
we continued our study of holidays
around the world.
Next Word Study focus: - ock
On December 19th all the
first grade classes will be
participating in a Polar
Express Day. The
students may wear their
pj’s that day if they wish.
We will be doing various
activities based on the
book.
