Homework
!
Independent Reading: a minimum of four times a
week for 30 minutes
Websites and Resources: Please see our list of
resources. Also, we will be introducing the classes
to our wiki (a website) that will provide websites for
students to use.
Birthdays
Dublin City Schools no longer
allows food treats to celebrate
birthdays.
Absences
Due to the nature of learning and teaching, we
will be unable to provide assignments in advance
for absences. We will help your child make up his/her work
upon his/her return to school.
Please note that the workshop model is difficult
to replicate in its entirety, so your child may not
have a large amount of paperwork to return upon
his/her absence.
Our Classrooms
Our classrooms are far more exploratory and
problem based than what we experienced growing
up.
We will work to build student independence through
choice activities and learning experiences tailored to
your child’s interests and readiness. All children on our team will be challenged and held
to high expectations behaviorally and academically.
