 Reconstruction
Typical Unit will include:
 Preview
 Notes on the unit
 Activities to expand on information from the
notes
 Sometimes a small project
 Class review/review guide
 Quiz/test/assessment
Homework/Projects
 Due next day at the start of class
 Homework turned in late will have points taken
off the original homework’s total worth-if
turned in later complete, points will be given
back
 Late projects turned in after original due date
will lose 5 points each day
 If absent, students have whichever days they
missed to turn in the project. However, a
discussion with your teacher needs to take
place so we can decide upon an exact day.
Daily supplies for Social Studies
 Social studies binder with notebook paper
 Social Studies textbook—we have a NEW textbook
this year, which can be accessed online. An
informational sheet as to how to subscribe has
been given to you. I have also placed this
electronically on my webpage.
 Plan book
 Pen and/or pencil
Progressbook-it is IMPERITIVE that you know both
how to get on progressbook AND your password.
Grades will be updated frequently…SO CHECK OFTEN!!!

find my name. Here you will find weekly updates,
along with electronic copies of assignments and
study guides for each unit.
