No guarantees, but we do our best! You will get a letter (mid-summer) that will let you know AM/PM assignment. The Parent Dashboard gives you access to your children's various online forms, including the Emergency Medical Authorization Form and Elementary Handbook. The available forms and other features within the Dashboard will continue to grow over time, giving you access to more information.You have already created a Parent Dashboard account during the registration process and you can login using the username and password that you created. The dashboard is also where you will go access ProgressBook, an online tool to keep up with your student’s progress. ● ● ● Important to fill out the Emergency Medical Form on the Parent Dashboard. Important to look over and sign the Elementary Handbook on Dashboard. Immunizations must be up to date and letters will be sent home if you have anything missing. We celebrate BIRTHDAYS in healthy ways! Our students love to celebrate their birthdays with their peers and teachers. We also recognize that we have the opportunity to promote healthy behaviors without making food the focus of the celebration. For that reason we have a non-food birthday policy. It is certainly not a requirement or expectation for you to provide anything, if you wish to do so, we ask you consider other options: ● ● ● ● Party favors; stickers, crayons, pencils, stamps for each student Donate a classroom book and do a read-a-loud. Donate a class game, puzzle, or activity to the class Teachers can provide other ideas that are favorites of students We will continue to have school-wide celebrations such as the Harvest Party and the Holiday Party, at which we will share nutritious snacks and will allow one sugary treat. If students are eligible for a neighborhood bus, they are transported both ways. Today kindergarten has a much greater focus on academics than ever before. It includes hands-on learning and problem solving, independent reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies and health. Additional information will be shared during curriculum nights.
