StayWell Health Management
is seeking a Program Coordinator in Belvidere, IL.
Health Promotion and Human Development graduates.
Minimum of a bachelors degree required in a healthrelated field. Two or more years of health
promotion/wellness or other health-related program
General
planning and delivery experience required. Requires
Requirements: excellent written and verbal communication skills and the
ability to relate to the needs of the target population and to
all levels of management. Computer proficiency in word
processing, spreadsheets, and graphic arts is required.
Assess the needs, culture, management and
employee concerns of the worksite to develop a
delivery plan and implementation schedule.
Work with customer’s management and, if
applicable, union representatives to obtain their
commitment to and active support of the StayWell
program and its activities.
Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of
established programs with direction from a Program
Manager and/or Program Director.
Coordinate program promotion including
development and/or distribution of promotional
materials.
Plan, coordinate and supervise health screenings,
including contracting and monitoring technical staff
(outside of Michigan).
Provide onsite cholesterol screenings; contract and
monitor additional technical/ administrative staff
(Detroit area).
Provide onsite blood pressure screenings.
Specific
Develop and facilitate educational programs (i.e.,
Responsibility
courses, workshops, special events and interactive
:
booths).
Administer and monitor the completion of Focused
Education courses and workshops and other onsite
education.
Recruit, hire, train and supervise members of the
delivery team including Program Specialists and
Instructors.
Initiate, coordinate, and supervise delegate network.
Plan, coordinate, and conduct Management and
Employee Orientations.
Develop and maintain files of community resources
for augmenting program delivery when necessary.
Use StayWell MIS to ensure effective program
delivery and evaluation.
Provide monthly reports to Program Manager on
activity, evaluation and future plans.
Monitor expenditures to assure spending remains
within specified guidelines.
Act to ensure the quality of the worksite delivery.
Working knowledge of MS Office.
