Job Description - Healics Inc. Healics is a small entrepreneurial company located on the west side in Milwaukee. At the same time we are the largest provider of health risk assessments for employer wellness programs in Wisconsin. Historically we have provided printed reports for participants. We are now upgrading our portfolio to add additional services such as online individual reports, online group reports, telephonic health coaching, electronic systems to record health coaching, a do-it-yourself wellness web site and health tips via email. We normally talk through with employers as to how they can view all their HRA participants, one subsidiary, males only, spouses only, etc. CLIENT SERVICES Capabilities Is computer literate and internet competent Is a good communicator and can relate to client HR staffs Is good with numbers and can work with statistics Is knowledgeable regarding what works in health promotion Researches and shares best-practices regarding employer wellness programs Works well with existing Healics staff Is detail oriented Tasks Conduct Client Surveys regarding success of wellness programs Healics has more than 100 employer clients. We are not initiating surveys to find out how well their wellness programs are working. HR departments don’t want to take the time, so some strategic “nagging” will be required. Once we have that information, we should be in a position to share “best practices” among our clientele and to compile aggregate reports and individual case studies. Employer prospects will typically ask what has worked for existing clients, and we want to be able to better respond. We also request annual claims data from clients so that we can conduct annual comparison between HRA results and claims. When the data comes in, our IT person will convert to a spread sheet. Must be able to interpret overall results (total employees, total spouses, total dollars, etc) and verify overall accuracy with client before data is inserted in database. Learn and share Best Practices regarding health education and employee motivation Researches best practices when it comes to employer wellness programs, whether our clients or not, and shares with our clients via email, web site, phone, or in person. 1 Manage Online Group Reporting process We are now live with online Executive Summaries for our employer clients. You can look at a sample report by going to www.healicsreports.com., password “healics”. At inception we will print reports from the home office. Once we are debugged we will let clients and sponsors know their passwords so they can do the report creation and printing. The weekly process will be: 1) Transfer updated HRA results from database computer to upload computer. 2) Uploads to www.healicsreports.com. 3) Prints individual group reports (in color?); 4) Place cover letter on reports and gives them to staff for mailing. 5) Interprets group health risk reports/charts and shares thoughts with our sales person, our hospital sponsors, and employer clients. Manage House Accounts – Employers and Hospital Sponsors We didn’t have a sales person prior to two years ago so we have many house accounts. Stay in touch with existing clients as needed to create renewals and upgrades. Manage new out-of-state Clients and Sponsors We don’t actively solicit clients at a distance from Milwaukee. But if they are easy maintenance we will work with them. If an employer or hospital lead comes in from out-of-state, respond to the inquiry, explain our program, and act as Account Manager if the prospect becomes a client. Update printed and online marketing material Periodically updates and improves on our printed and online marketing material Help with development of online wellness education website We want to create a do-it-yourself wellness website related to disease prevention and alternative self-care for disease states. Help create/manage participant feedback regarding any recommendations. Examples: Did daily chocolate help reduce high blood pressure, and did Echinacea reduce incidence and length of colds. Create Email output We want to send weekly health tips to employee and spouse participants. We need to create the structure to make this work. Answer the phone if no one else is here and deal with the person’s issue if you can Assist the founder as requested. Travel Travel is not expected on a regular basis. Since face-to-face relationships are important, periodic personal contact with in-state sponsor/clients will be appropriate. Payment Salary plus bonus.
