DESCRIBE THE BROAD FUNCTION AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION:
The position will prepare an individual for leading the plant quality control department and serving as a technical advisor to
plant management. The Trainee will receive instructions about Del Monte’s Quality Systems that includes government
requirements, Food Safety and ensures products conform to specifications while meeting customer expectations.
This position is responsible for the related communication, documentation, and reporting associated with this position.
This position must be open to relocation as promotional and developmental opportunities occur.

Assist production with Quality Assurance activities.
Assist with training of full time and seasonal employees.
Conduct and document internal audits as required.
Follow-up with corrective actions of internal and 3rd party audits.
Assist with the investigation and evaluation nonconforming finished product, raw materials, and ingredients.
Prepare and distribute Quality Reports.
Support DMPS activities through participation.
Ensure overall product quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements are met.
Become familiar with Quality policies and procedures and assist with enforcement of these policies.
Assist in the development and implementation of new quality procedures and policies.
Assist Quality Assurance Manager with 3rd party audits conducted at the facility.
Assist with the preparation and presentation of the annual Management Quality Review.
EDUCATION:
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
4 Year Undergraduate Degree, preferably Food Science or related curriculum. Entry Level
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
