HSTA 379 was withdrawn. Action on FRCH 307 was postponed to allow
Associate Provost Walker-Andrews to talk with the department chair.

The Education and Fine Arts items appended were approved. Follow-up is

The Social Science Subcommittee was satisfied with the follow-up on the items in
chart below and they were approved. ANTH 431 was withdrawn. Follow-up
response is pending on ANTH 402 and 446. Significant issues remain regarding
ANTH 240. The Professor retains the course should have a 400 number because
of the methodology. Transferability and common course numbering are also
concerns. Three proposals received late have several issues that will require
clarification. The Certificate in Bioethics does not have syllabi included for the
new courses. The AA in Licensed Addiction Counselor Studies was not vetted by
Psychology and they have raised important concerns. The 2+2 Program with
Social Work requires an addition.3 FTE faculty and it is not clear where the
courses will be taken.
