LIVAR M506
Laser Illuminated Viewing and Ranging System
®
The Laser Illuminated Viewing and Ranging System (LIVAR) camera is
ideal for covert operations and target identification. Cost-effective, compact
and lightweight, this range-gated, two-dimensional imaging camera
operates in eye-safe short wave infrared (SWIR) band, provides day
and night coverage, and supports mounted and dismounted operations.
Required components include the high voltage power supply (HVPS) and
thermal electric cooler controller (TECC), both sold separately.
LIVAR M506
Working in conjunction with a FLIR camera to detect a threat at range,
LIVAR sets the range gate for the target location and then provides a
stream of high-resolution digital images for positive identification. These
capabilities increase the effectiveness of weapons systems and reduce the
risk of unintended civilian casualties and fratricide.
The LIVAR M506 offers system integrators a highly advanced long range
surveillance camera at a low cost.
