Tasks
Each member is responsible for at least 1 task:
1. History and basic theory of the technology
2. State-of-the-art designs/products
3. Impacts (technical and social)
– Benefits and values
– Concerns and problems
4. Challenges or R&D focus in next 5-10 years
5. 1-2 true (successful or not) stories of its application or
demonstration
6. 1-2 related research papers published in recent 5 years
*5&6 are recommended for ECE521 students
4
Project Deliverables
1. 25 minutes in-class presentation on each topic
– Everyone should present his/her task for 3-4 minutes
– Questions asked by the rest of the class
2. A project report
– 6-8 pages long
– Including all investigation results
– Using IEEE paper template
