History and basic theory of the technology 2. State-of-the-art designs/products 3. Impacts (technical and social) – Benefits and values – Concerns and problems 4. Challenges or R&D focus in next 5-10 years 5. 1-2 true (successful or not) stories of its application or demonstration 6. 1-2 related research papers published in recent 5 years *5&6 are recommended for ECE521 students 4 Project Deliverables 1. 25 minutes in-class presentation on each topic – Everyone should present his/her task for 3-4 minutes – Questions asked by the rest of the class 2.
