Tasks
Each member is responsible for at least 1 task:
1. History and basic theory of the technology
2. State-of-the-art designs/products
3. Impacts (technical and social)
– Benefits and values
– Concerns and problems
4. Challenges or R&D focus in next 5-10 years
5. 1-2 true (successful or not) stories of its application or
demonstration
6. 1-2 related research papers published in recent 5 years
*ECE599 students need to choose from 5&6

Project Deliverables
1. Each team give 20 minutes in-class presentation
– Each student has 3 minutes to present
– Questions asked by the rest of the class
– Dates:
•October 27: Groups 1&4
•October 29: Groups 2&3
•October 31: Groups 5&6
2. A project report
– 6-8 pages long
– Including all investigation results
– Using IEEE paper template (posted)

We will start at 11:10am for the class. Each student has 3
minutes (3-5 slides) to present.
