COMMUNICATIONS The meeting began with the UM Minute. BUSINESS ITEMS The Council discussed the Bertha Morton Distribution and decided to offer 5 fellowships and 20 scholarships. The list of scholarship / fellowship awardees is appended. Chair Swift talked to the ASCRC Chair regarding the issue with Undergraduate /Graduate codes showing on graduate courses in the catalog / schedule. The issue was brought up at ASCRC yesterday. It was decided to include the level in the course description and hide the Banner codes. This should resolve the issue. The remaining business this spring is several program reviews. It is likely that the Council will not meet the week following spring break to allow the subcommittees time to work on the program review documents. o o o o Biological Sciences (Science) Computer Science (Science) Economics (Social Science) Counselor Education (Schools) A Chair-elect is still needed.
