Communication Chair DeBoer received a communication from Global Leadership requesting GBLD for the rubric. Business Items The following curriculum follow-up items were approved. Course HONR 370 U HONR 372 U Title Pre-Law Seminar Global Health Issues Change New course New course Action on the pending program modifications for Parks, Tourism and Recreation Management and Resource Conservation was postponed. These changes relate to the programs application for exemption to the language requirement still being debated by the General Education Committee. The General Education Consent agenda appended was approved. The language exemption forms for PTRM and RSCN form credit counts were below the 48 requirement and were not approved. The General Education Committee Chair is communicating with the programs. The following consent agenda from the Writing Committee were also approved. Approved Writing Course LCSI 391, Who Owns Culture? An Introduction to Copyright (one-timeonly) Upper-division Writing in the Major CHMY 302E Chemical Literature and Scientific Writing The remaining items on the Crosslisting Review Document were discussed. The revision to policy 201.3.3 appended was approved. The consent agenda will include the courses approved only. Chair DeBoer will address the rationale at the meeting. He will also do some public relations and send a communication to departments explaining the other components of the recommendations. The suggested revisions to the draft Dual Enrollment Policy were discussed. Professor Coffin will check with the Missoula College subcommittee members regarding the rephrasing. He will also send Professor Vonessen the NACEP documentation that does not allow AP courses to also be offered for dual credit. The Provost asked ASCRC to consider a possible exception to Policy 201.60 Effective Date of Approved Curriculum Forms. Although the Big Data Certificate was approved by the Faculty Senate in November. There are students who will have fulfilled the requirements at the end of this semester. Good and Welfare Chair DeBoer announced the upcoming Forums for the second Registrar candidate. It precedes the section called Special Degree Requirements or in some programs the section called Admission Requirements. Typographical errors. Grammatical errors or other composition errors. Changes in punctuation for clarification. Reorganization for clarification if no effect on requirements. Changes in the semester(s) a course is offered. Minor changes in terminology (not affecting course focus) used in course descriptions. Changes in faculty listing. Simple course number, rubric, title changes to abide by common course numbering.
