Please explain/justify the new proposal or change. 
The School of Media Arts is proposing an internal Media Arts Symbolic Systems Sequence during this
curricular approval period. In order to introduce the symbolic systems requirement into the degree, the
existing course, MART341 Introduction to Web Design, will need to be added to the current BFA in
Digital Filmmaking.
