The Administrative Management Advisory Committee recommended adding another writing course, WRIT101 College Writing I to the Social Media Management curriculum. WRIT101 develops expository writing style and structured idea presentation, enhancing WRIT121, the technical emphasis on clarity and conciseness. The Advisory Committee also recommended creating and adding a permanent course BMKT265 Social Media Strategies and Management, initially taught as Special Topics. This course provides a capstone experience for students through practical application in researching, planning, selecting platform(s), creating and publishing digital content to enhance business relationship and manage media for social communities.
