Silviculture offerings within the CFC (currently FORS 437 is offered both semesters) have now been split into two courses: FORS 437 Multiple Resource Silviculture for non-Forestry majors (spring semester) and FORS 349 Practice of Silviculutre for Forestry majors (fall semester). This new course will elevate the pace of silviculture instruction for major but will not change the writing component in the course. FORS 437 is no longer offered. The Additional Credit Requirement has been a long-approved standard within the CFC but this language no longer appears within the catalog.
