Dear ASCRC Committee, Faculty Senate Members, and Associate Provost Walker-Andrews:
Thank you for reviewing our Level I Program Form proposing to add a 1-year 30-credit Certificate in
Applied Sciences in the field of Energy Technology. Please also find attached the results of a recent
survey I conducted to assess the demand for the certificate.
Finally, I would like to ask that we be allowed to grant the first set of certificates as early as June
2013, as technically, this is the second time that our request has come before the ASCRC.
