Please explain/justify the new proposal or change. 
We wish to offer BFA actors more choice in their elective course—they may now choose among five varied
options rather than being limited to an “either/or” selection. Additionally, we are reinstating the requirement
for all acting majors to take THTR 481—Advanced Acting: Personal Performance. This course was
required in previous catalogs but was inadvertently removed from the 2010-2011 requirements; it should
not have been removed and that clerical error is being corrected.
V Copies and Electronic Submission
Once approved, the original, a paper copy and an electronic file are submitted to the Faculty Senate
Office, UH 221 (camie.foos@mso.umt.edu).
VI Department Summary Required if several proposals are submitted. In a separate document
list program title and proposed change of all proposals.
