Medical Anthropology Option
For a degree in anthropology with an
option in medical anthropology, the
student must meet all the general
requirements for the major and complete

Please explain/justify the new proposal or change. 
There is currently no option in medical anthropology offered in the State of Montana for
students interested in anthropological studies of health and disease. This is true even though
medical anthropology is one of the fastest growing and practically relevant fields within the
discipline.
