SAFE CONNECT GUEST USERS INSTRUCTIONS
PVAMU Main Campus Guest User
**READ INSTRUCTIONS ALL THE WAY THROUGH**
Connecting to the PVAMU Wireless Network
1.
Click on the Wireless networks icon located on your task bar next to your volume control

Click SSID pvamu-guest
Check the Connect automatically button
Click the Connect button
Accept the Disclaimer by clicking on the check box and then click accept as shown in figure 1.0.

Wait a few minutes for the network connection to establish then open a web browser and attempt
to navigate to any web page. You should be greeted with a Guest registration page as shown in
figure 2.0 below.

You may then register as a guest by Clicking on the Guest Account Button as show in picture below.

File in the information on the form above with your Email Address, Full name, Reason for Request,
mobile number and select your mobile carrier service Provider and click submit and a password will
be sent to your phone.
9.
After you receive the password on your phone you will proceed to login with the password you
received, the username will be the email address you used to register in Step 8 above.
10. Input your username and password, put a check mark next to the acceptance policy as show in fig
4.0 above and click submit.
11. You can now surf the internet as a registered guest user.
