We have formed an alliance with PMMI, the Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, to develop an all‐new trade show: Pharma EXPO will debut Nov. 2 – 5, 2014 in Chicago. Pharma EXPO will be held in conjunction with PMMI’s PACK EXPO, one of the world’s most respected and successful manufacturing and packaging events. Our new joint event will be held annually and take place in Chicago and Las Vegas on alternating years. As like‐minded, not‐for‐profit associations with related missions, ISPE and PMMI share a commitment to advance the manufacturing industry. By working closely with PMMI on the planning and execution of Pharma EXPO, we are opening new opportunities and offering a new marketing platform for exhibitors, including the chance to meet new buyers from around the globe. Pharma EXPO will be located in impressive venues where your company can reach potential customers and business partners and highlight new and emerging technologies, processing and packaging equipment and other products and services that advance the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. The event will also provide new opportunities for presenting seminars and mini‐sessions designed to deliver education and information specific to the pharma industry, including suppliers. All of this, together with Pharma EXPO’s proximity to PACK EXPO will make the new event a key tradeshow during which your company needs to be seen each year. You may be aware that for several years, the PACK EXPO show has included several specialty interest exhibit areas, such as food, confectionary and pharmaceuticals, just to name a few. Last year, PACK EXPO’s pharma pavilion drew more than 5,700 visitors alone to see the latest pharmaceutical packaging equipment. The addition of ISPE’s role and the launch of Pharma EXPO as a distinct show is expected to increase attendance thereby offering our supplier community an even greater marketing platform for new lead generation.
