Approving a "Vote" Campaign for the Student Fieldhouse
Referendum

WHEREAS, the UW-La Crosse Student Association will be holding a special referendum
vote on October 14th, 2014, and;
WHEREAS, a referendum for a new student fieldhouse will be held on October 14th and;
WHEREAS, students need to be educated in order to vote on increasing student
segregated fees, and;
WHEREAS, this fieldhouse would include a state of the art eight lane competitive track
allowing UW- L to host national level meets, four NCAA regulation indoor tennis courts,
multi activity courts inside the track, three meeting rooms, and;
WHEREAS, running a "Vote" campaign will encourage senators to outreach to
constituents more about the upcoming election as well as encourage voter participation
by the students.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the UW-La Crosse Student Association coordinates a
“Vote ” campaign encouraging students to vote on the October 14th special referendum
for the student fieldhouse proposal
THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the UW-La Crosse Student Association
Email Account send an email to the entirety of the student body with the purpose of
educating students on the new student fieldhouse referendum.
