HANGING OUT WITH GOD!!!

GOOD NEWS FOR LIFE
God wants to know, what ’s the real deal?
So many of us have
professed to be disciples of our Creator and have allowed doubt to
take up residency in our minds. We are God’s jewels and God knows
that there will be times when we feel alone, isolated and left out; but,
we must remember the one that gives us strength to make it another
day. God’s power is greater than any other force on this earth. We
have to learn how to trust God with all of our Mind, Heart, Soul and
Strength. Having faith in God does not mean we will never
encounter tough days and lonely moments, but with God in our lives
the tough days become our fruitful testimonies and the lonely nights
become our hands lifted up giving praises to the Almighty One that
gives us strength to make it another day.
Hanging out with God means to tie a knot at the end of your “rope”
and hold on until he comes. Don’t give up!!! Just hang out with God
and see the goodness of God in your life come true.

The concern I lay bare before God
today is my need for courage:
I need courage to be honest—
Honest in my use of words
Honest in accepting responsibility
Honest in dealing with myself
Do you know the
rich business woman in
Acts 16:13-15
Hmmm, What is her
name?
Honest in dealing with my fellows
Honest in my relations with God
What Is the Wesley Foundation?
The Wesley Foundation,
the United Methodist
Campus Ministry, was
established at Prairie
View A&M University
in 1949 under the name
“Methodist Students Movement” (MSM). We are a
group of students who meet with a common goal, to
know and understand our relationship with God
through Jesus Christ. We strive to meet the spiritual
needs of students.
Wesley offers a variety of ministry such as Bible
Study, Book Study, Discussion Group, Mission
Trips (national and international), retreats, fellowship, prayer, … As a group in Christ, Wesley is a
place to nourish body, mind and soul.
We meet every Wednesday and Thursday at JPAF
Chapel from 5 to 6 p.m.
