Peer Advising Appointments!
Dear CNR Freshmen and First Semester Sophomores:
It is time to come into the CNR Student Success Center for your mandatory 25minute advising session. A peer advisor will assist you in determining your academic
progress to this point and in selecting courses for the Spring 2014 semester. You
will not be allowed to register for classes if you are not advised.
You will need to stop by 180 TNR during office hours to set up your advising
appointment. Check out the bulletin board outside TNR 180 to find an advisor
whose major is close to your own major and is in the office at a time that is
convenient for you to come in for an appointment. You can sign up for an
appointment anytime during the following dates – October 1 – November 27.
Summer and Spring 2014 timetables are now available on the web. You can view
your registration appointment times on MyPoint beginning October 14th.
If you miss two pre-advising appointments, you will forfeit your registration time
and you will register on the last scheduled day (December 2)
I urge you to make an appointment with a Peer Advisor as soon as possible! We
have our largest number of students to advise in the history of the Student Success
Center, so don't wait until just before your registration time when all the time slots
may be filled!
