Prairie View A&M University College of Agriculture and Human Science (CAHS) Host the first Agriculture and Human Sciences Focused Career Fair PVCAHS Career Fair Prairie View A&M University College of Agriculture and Human Sciences (CAHS) Hosts the first Agriculture and Human Sciences Focused Career Fair Employers and vendors are invited to participate in the Prairie View A&M University Career Fair strictly focusing on Agriculture and Human Sciences related fields. The event will be held on, April 5, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on the campus of Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas. PVAMU CAHS students and alumni will be in attendance. The Career Fair is for employers interested in hiring full-time and part-time employees, recruiting individuals for internships and summer jobs, and distributing career information. Businesses that provide employment and internship opportunities are encouraged to participate. Booth space rental for recruiters to this firsttime event is $200, which includes floor space in the John B. Coleman Library, where the career fair will be housed. Booth availability is limited. In addition to the booth rental, we do encourage your financial contribution to 2015 CAHS programs, ‘The CAHS Difference at a Glance’ and/or ‘Growth’ publications.. PVCAHS Career Fair 2016 Set-Up Information Location: Prairie View A&M University, John B. Coleman Library, 1st Floor, Room 108 This building is located where University Drive ends and is currently the tallest building in Waller County. Check in is required at the Visitor Information Center at the campus entrance. Set-Up Date/Time: TUESDAY, April 5, 2016 anytime between the hours of 7:00 am - 8:45 pm. All exhibits should be in place and ready for the public when the Fair starts at 9:00 am. One table and two chairs will be provided for each exhibit space. Interview areas will be available for on-site interviews. Electricity is also available. Please note on the reservation form if you will need electricity or interview space. Each exhibitor will have to bring table covers, backdrops, power strips, extension cords, video equipment etc. if needed. These will not be provided. Job Fair Date/Time: TUESDAY, APRIL 5 , 2016 from 9:00 am- 4:00 pm. At least one representative from your organization should be available in your booth from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. Please plan on staying until the Fair ends at 3:00 pm. We do NOT want to disappoint job seekers who come to the Fair after work/class or between classes to find that their company of interest has left early. Lunch will be provided as well as light refreshments. The John B. Coleman Library houses the Jazzman Cafe for your convenience and additional eating needs. Additional information: There is NO CHARGE for applicants and potential employees to attend the PVCAHS Career Fair. The Exhibitor Registration Form and payment should be returned no later than March 29 , 2016. Lunch and a special reception will take place at the Alfred N. Poindexter Veterinary Hospital Building. Smoking poses a significant health risk to smokers and non-smokers. Prairie View A&M University restricts the use of tobacco products inside any University building. On University property, smoking is permitted in open areas outside of buildings at a distance of at least 50 feet from any entrance door or window so that second-hand smoke will not interfere with the occupants of the buildings or individuals entering and exiting the buildings. No Candles and Incense (open flame devices): In conjunction with fire safety regulations.
