Dental Hygiene officer Positions ARTCLE V OFFICERS
The elective officers of Taft College Dental Hygiene are as follows (for both first year and
second year classes): President, Vice president, Secretary, Treasurer, Hospitality, and Historian.
• Officer Responsibilities:

▪ Attendance of all meetings
§ Spokesperson for the club
§ Coordinating efforts regarding graduation and fundraising
§ Assisting in the planning of graduation
o Secretary
§ Attendance of all meetings
§ Taking minutes of meetings
§ Develop reports when needed
§ Maintain a chronological history of events, letters, elections, etc.
o Treasurer
§ Attendance of all meetings
§ Count, record, and monitor all funds
§ Budget development and reporting
§ Process check requests
o Hospitality
§ Attendance of all meetings
§ Coordinating of potlucks, birthdays, gifts exchanges, etc
§ Responsible for cards (i.e., birthday, thank you, sympathy, etc.)
o Historian
§ Attendance of all meetings
§ Taking photos of all events
§ Planning photo events
§ Posting photos either on the website or in the Dental Hygiene Lounge area.
