Attendance Monitoring/Accounting
An adequate and comprehensive system of attendance records shall be maintained for each
student.
Each teacher shall be responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of attendance in his
classroom.
In cases of prolonged student absence, the teacher shall ascertain the cause of the absence and
make whatever arrangements are necessary to minimize the effects on achievement that such
legitimate absence may cause through help, frequent communication, encouragement, etc.
