The material handling chain begins and ends at the loading dock.
Smooth operation is vital to the success and cost efficiency
of any business. The Poweramp CentraAir ® (CA) Series Air
Powered dock leveler provides proven
durability, dependability and safety as an
alternative to hydraulic, mechanical and
other power assisted levelers.
At the heart of the CentraAir ® is a proven
automotive grade air bellows system
pulling air from an existing air supply or a
dedicated compressor. The lifting system
is the same technology found with air ride
suspension, that has been proven reliable
in the trucking industry for years.
CentraAir ®
levelers can be push button or
manually activated via a lanyard control
located at the back of the leveler. Both
versions utilize a valve which allows the
5 ft³ bellows to inflate, then completely
exhaust the consumed air into the bottom
of the pit.
The CentraAir ® leveler has a unique lip
latching mechanism providing positive, full
height lip extension and is fully yieldable in
case of impact with a backing truck.
A lockout/tagout maintenance strut and lip
supporting service strut are standard on
the CentraAir™ Series Leveler.
Best of all, the CentraAir ® lifting mechanism
is durable and compact making clean up
of the pit a snap. The rubber membrane
bellows is significantly more durable than
conventional air bag levelers. Appearance
and access to the pit is also dramatically
improved. A quick connect blow gun is
available to quickly and easily clean out
the pit area during routine housekeeping.
