The meeting commenced at 3:30pm. Minutes from the previous meeting were unanimously approved. 2. Shelley Hay and Leslee Poulton proposed a new general education course, GER 398: German Thinkers and Popular Culture. This proposal will be revisited at the next meeting. 3. Georges Cravins and Jennifer Docktor from GEAC provided updates from GEAC on assessment compliance. Discussion continued on General Education Assessment. 4. Informational Items: The College of Science and Health substituted HUM 1555, Adventures in the Human Spirit from Vermillion Community College for a course in Arts: The Aesthetic Experience in the General Education program. 5. The College of Liberal Studies substituted two courses (Core111 and Core115 from Valparaiso University) for an English literature course in the Humanistic Studies category of the General Education Program.
