d. KenShonkannouncedthattheEducationTPAthatwaspilotedlast
yearisnow“live.”Also,highschoolstudentsarenowrequiredtopass
acitizenshiptestinordertograduate.Thischangemayimpactthe
waypublicschoolhistoryclassesaretaught,withmoreemphasisput
onAmericanhistory.
e. BesurethatBeckihasyourspringteachingschedule
f. JohnGriderpassedonwordthatMeredithThomsenhasaskedHistory
toconsiderwaystocoordinateenvironmentaltopicsintocourses.She
isseekingmoreclassoptionsforEnvironmentalStudiesstudents.
