Regulation Statement

This regulation delegates authority to the presidents of the universities (academic institutions) of

The Texas A&M University System (system) to implement tuition and fee exemptions and waivers that are permitted by statute, but not mandated.

Reason for Regulation

Pursuant to System Policy 26.01, Tuition and Fees , this regulation establishes a delegation of authority by the chancellor to the presidents of the academic institutions.

Procedures and Responsibilities

1. System Policy 26.01

delegates the authority to the chancellor regarding the implementation of tuition and fee exemptions and waivers by members and permits the further delegation of this authority by the chancellor.

2. The presidents of the academic institutions are hereby delegated authority pursuant to

System Policy 26.01

to implement various exemptions and waivers that are permitted by statute, but not mandated.
