Uwe Möller Political economist, former Director of HAUS RISSEN – International Institute for Politics and Economics in Hamburg, an independent platform and training centre for future studies on global affairs. Already in the late fifties during the predominance of Cold War the institute “discovered” the importance of the upcoming “North-South-Gap”. Its future-orientation led to a close collaboration with THE CLUB OF ROME, founded in 1968. Becoming its member in 1986, an appointment as Secretary General followed from 1998 to 2007 under the Presidency of HRH Prince Hassan of Jordan.
