When employers request resumes, CDS uses student information in BulldogCareers to find candidates. Put your cursor over Interview Schedules and select View All Upcoming Interviews. 2. Insert criteria to narrow down your interview schedule search OR click the Search button to view all current interview schedules. 3. Click on the Schedule ID to see the specifics of the position and interview requirements Note: you cannot sign up for interviews under this selection. You must be able to access the Sign Up for Interviews I Qualify For selection. STEP 1. PAY FEE AND CREATE PROFILE Stop by the Cashier’s Office to pay the registration fee or go to www. aamu.afford.com. Bring your receipt to the CDS Office in 101 Patton Hall and you will receive your password for the BulldogCareers site. Log onto: www.myinterfase.com/aamu/student. Click on the “Click here to Register!” link. Click on each link and carefully complete all sections. Insert your School Password and click on the Register button. Required (*) fields are marked with an asterisk. Be sure to click the SAVE button. Follow these same steps to update links in the future. Search/Sign up for Interviews Hover your cursor over Interview Schedules and select Sign Up for interviews I qualify For. Click on the Submit Profile button NOTE: After you submit your profile, your account will be given Pending status. Click on the Schedule ID and read ALL of the specifics about the position and how to apply. STEP 2. UPLOAD YOUR DOCUMENTS Put your cursor over My Account and select My Documents. For a Pre-select Schedule, submit your resume to be considered for an interview.You will be allowed to sign up for a time slot if the employer chooses you as a candidate. For an Open Schedule, you will be allowed to immediately choose an interview time slot if you meet all the employer-specified qualifications. Click on the Upload File link. Click the Browse button to find your document. Select the correct document and name it. Changing/Canceling Interview Times Interview times may be changed or cancelled up to four days before the scheduled interview; this includes weekend dates. Click the Upload button. STEP 3. GET YOUR RESUME APPROVED All resumes have a Pending – Resume Revisions status until they are approved. To change interview times, first remove yourself from the current slot, then sign up for another time slot. Stop by CDS or send an email to the staff person who is assigned to your college (see back page) to set up a resume critique appointment. Make the suggested corrections then upload your resume to My Documents. Be sure to make the approved resume your Default Resume. Should an emergency arise, contact Ms. Lee-Anthony at 256.372.8220 or at angel.leeanthony@aamu.edu. If she cannot be reached, call the office at 256.372.5692. Note: You have 45 days to correct your resume after submission. Thereafter, your file will be labeled inactive and you will have to resubmit. ONGOING Search for Jobs, Internships and Co-ops Put your cursor over Jobs and select Job Listings. STEP 4. FOR ON-CAMPUS INTERVIEWS PARTICIPATE IN INTERVIEWING SKILLS WORKSHOP Workshops are held on the first and third Thursday of each month at 12:30p and at 9a on the second and fourth Friday in 101 Patton Hall. There is no dress code for this workshop. After completing this final step, you are eligible for on campus interviews!
