Burlington Hawk Eye, IA 05-20-06 Dangers of smoking topic of JEL forum The Hawk Eye According to Just Eliminate Lies, tobacco kills more people in one year than alcohol, AIDS, car accidents, illegal drugs, murders and suicides combined, and that's just one fact the teen group knows. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today, JEL members from Mediapolis and Burlington high schools will share information on tobacco during a Student Leaders of Aggressive Tobacco Education program in Crapo Park. The mini–presentations will be in the large shelter house by Lake Starker. Need help quitting? Want to know what is actually in a cigarette? How about secondhand smoke?
