Farm Expo starts Wednesday

MASON CITY — The 10th annual North Iowa Farm Expo runs from 9 a.m to 5
p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday at the North Iowa Fairgrounds.
Luncheon programs are in the Olson building. Today’s is a forum from 12:15 to
1:45 p.m. forum for Iowa Secretary of Agriculture candidates.
Paul Lasley, Iowa State University professor of sociology will speak
beginning at 12:15 p.m on Thursday about changing nature of rural America and
its implications on the fabric of life in Iowa.
Admission to the event is free.
