Once you complete your DLI language training, you will PCA’d to AFIT. The AFIT/CC becomes your UCMJ authority. You must complete the following: BEFORE DLI Graduation: A) Request the DLI Registrar send OFFICIAL copies of the DLPT and DLI transcript to AFIT. i. Official DLPT scores: (Form 420): Instructions: http://www.dliflc.edu/dlitranscripts.html ii. Official DLI Transcript (Form 220): Instructions: http://www.dliflc.edu/dlitranscripts.html iii. Use this address on the forms: AFIT/ENEL 2950 Hobson Way WPAFB, OH 45433-7265 B) Complete AFIT virtual check-in: go to https://www.afit.edu/cip. Create an account, log in, and complete the “Arrival at Program Location Checklist”, located under the heading “In-processing Information” on the right side of the screen. Your AFIT Program Manager can be contacted at DSN 785-6565 x3026. AFTER Completion of Immersion and NLT NPS Report Date: 2. A) Ideally, you will have PCS orders awaiting in the VMPF under the “Out-processing” section. Once you have your orders, provide a copy to finance office in Taylor Hall at POM. B) If PCS orders are not in the VMPF, report to the POM MPS, second floor of Taylor Hall at DLI. The MPS will gain you over to “AFIT Monterey”, which is the Naval Postgraduate School. i. Effective date will be the Friday before NPS report date. ii. Duty Title will change to “AFIT Masters Student”. iii. PAS Code becomes GF0JF7Z7; there is no position # since this is an educational tour. iv. Duty AFSC is 92S0, office symbol AFIT/NPS v. AFIT Training Report will begin after the DLI TR closeout date. vi. Provide finance a copy of your orders. C) Report to AFIT Force Support/CC, NPS; Herrmann Hall basement, room 043. i. Pick up a VPN Form. Turn it back in once complete. This will allow you to access .mil applications from the NPS campus computers. ii. Pick up a GTC transfer form. Send it to the contact info at the top of the page. iii. In the absence of the AFIT Force Support/CC, see POM CSS. D) Check in with student Services (Room 039). i. They will put you “on board” at NPS, and activate your NPS e-mail and student profile. Once you create your account, you’ll be able to use all the CAC-enabled computers at NPS. ii. Confirm date and location of orientation upon check in. iii. VITAL: Immediately upon check-in, ask them how to fill out a “Missed Muster Request”. All on-board students muster electronically every weekday, unless on Leave or TDY. You should not muster until you return from your post-DLI Immersion. iv. While you’re there, scan/e-mail a copy of your DLI diploma, DLI transcript, and DLPT scores (you should get all 3 documents in your DLI graduation packet) to dmartinez@nps.edu. Taking your Follow-on DLPT and OPI: According to SAF/IA, you are only required to re-test before PCSing from Monterey (after the second Immersion). If you wish to take them after the first immersion (or anytime < 6 months after the graduation test), you must provide a memo from your Immersion instructors, demonstrating at least 150 hours of Post-DLI instruction. a. To schedule, contact student services at 656-3812. Identify yourself as an AF RAS student taking your follow-up DLPT and OPI. 3. Optional, but recommended: a. Your class schedule will be visible via internet about 30 days before classes begin.
