• Applica on/contract packets are available beginning December 7, 9 a.m. in the Residen al Living Office. • CONTRACTS ARE FOR THE FULL ACADEMIC YEAR. Individuals gradua ng in December 2016 or par cipa ng in semester abroad program in spring 2017 will be allowed to “opt out” at the end of the fall semester. • ALL applicants (including individuals that are requested roommates) must have graduated from high school in or before 2014. • Suites@201 offers a gender-neutral living op on. • All applicants must pay a $125 prepayment. The online payment op on is available beginning January 24; payments may be made by check prior to this date. Suites@201 Sign-up Information 2016-17 During priority mes, only one of the applicants needs to “qualify.” For example, during “tradi onal hall—groups of 4 or 2,” only one of the individuals must be a spring 2016 hall resident. Other applicants may be from off-campus or be new to the university. A contract for each resident must be presented (or be on file in Residen al Living) at me of sign-up. The “room selector” must either bring in everyone’s contract OR present a signed le er from the individuals not present giving them permission to select a suite. During the groups for 2s and 3s/1s, Residen al Living reserves the right to limit the number of suites which can be claimed by these groups (e.g., a group of 2 takes a suite; a different group of 2 may need to go into that suite vs. half-fill a different suite). Once a priority group’s applica on meslot has occurred, they may con nue to sign up, but they lose any addi onal priority. Residen al Living’s smoking status policies (not assigning smokers with nonsmokers) con nue to be observed. However, individuals may elect to override that policy by signing a waiver sta ng that they are comfortable living with (a) smoker(s) in the suite.
