Courses from other areas require advisor approval. WRITING-INTENSIVE (WI) COURSES REQUIREMENT Students must pass three WI courses as a requirement for earning a General Studies degree. UPPER-LEVEL COURSE REQUIREMENT Students must pass 36 credits minimum of upper-level courses (typically, 300 level or higher) as a requirement for earning a General Studies degree. FREE ELECTIVES 63 credits SPECIALIZATION* 45 credits Incorporate a Minor/Devise Area of Study The specialization is a set of courses built around a cohesive area of study.
