Professional Experience
National
Management Consultant, National Financial Services Group (2001 - Present). Provide consultation to a
variety of clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to start-up firms. My consulting practice involves
strategic planning, business valuation, succession planning, risk management and exit strategies.
Professor of Management 1998-2007; Dean - Davis College of Business 1998-2002, Jacksonville University
(1998 - 2007). Jacksonville University is a comprehensive university offering programs at the Bachelors and
Masters level. At the graduate level the Davis College of Business offers MBA and Executive MBA programs. At
the undergraduate level, the College provides degree programs in accounting, aviation management,
economics, finance, international business, management, and marketing.
Dean - School of Business Administration, University of Evansville (1993 - 1998). One of three professional
schools at the University of Evansville, the School of Business Administration offers degree programs in
accounting, economics, finance, health care management, human resources management, international
business and marketing. Reporting to the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Dean of the School of
Business Administration is responsible for faculty recruitment and evaluation, budgeting, allocation of
resources, and the maintenance of positive relationships with students, parents, the alumni, and the business
and professional communities.
Academic Dean, Menlo College (1991 - 1993). Menlo College is a four-year undergraduate institution serving
approximately 600 undergraduate students. Reporting to the President of Menlo College, the Academic Dean
is responsible for curriculum design, faculty recruitment, faculty evaluation, budgeting, allocation of resources,
and maintenance of positive relationships with students, parents, alumni, the Board of Trustees, and the
business and professional Communities.
Department Head 1984-1991; Associate Professor 1982-1991; Assistant Professor 1978-1976; Instructor, UNC
Greensboro (1984 - 1978). The Department of Management and Marketing consists of 15 full-time faculty
members serving 700 undergraduate majors and 200 MBA students. Reporting to the Dean of the Bryan
School of Business and Economics, the Department Head is responsible for developing positive and productive
relationships with the faculty, the student body, student professional organizations, the business community,
and the alumni.
