academic year) (and by email year-round) with Pre-law UNCG students to help explain
law school preparation, application process, online law school prep resources and on
campus pre-law prep resources and the creation of recommendation letters, and the
personal statements required as part of the admission process/ work with former
students and UNCG graduates in their application process/ work with former UNCG
graduates who are currently attending law school in helping them find internships and
jobs after graduation/ help in the admission to the State Bar application and maintain a
Bryan School Pre-law Bulletin Board to update students/ send emails out numerous

UNCG Lloyd International Honors College Departmental Liaison and Advisor(current) meet with and advise all interested students and all students registered in
Disciplinary Honors in Management (majoring in International Business and Business
Administration- Business Studies and/ or Human Resources concentration) on all

Elon Law School Preceptor Assist designated first year law students, Elon Law
School (August, 2006 - current). Preceptor to first year law students- each semester I
am assigned 3-4 law students to regularly assist during the semester. Activities with
precepts include observing them in class, reviewing their class preparation, review
resumes, conducting mock employment interviews, tours of area courthouses,
arranging presentations on billing practices in the legal profession, shadowing a public
Defender. Tour of law firm, activities with the Bar Association
NC Superior Court Mediator and NC District Court Arbitrator, NC Court System
(1997 - Current) Mediate and Arbitrate civil cases within the NC Court System.
Assistant Public Defender, 3rd and 18th Judicial Districts, North Carolina, NC Public
Defender's Office -defended the indigent accused of crimes in North Carolina.
Assistant District Attorney, NC District Attorney's Office- 10th Judicial District Represented the State of North Carolina in prosecuting those accused of crimes.
Agency Legal Specialist, N.C. Dept. of Human Resources, NC Department of Human
Resources -Heard and rendered decisions on Agency Appeals within the Department of
Human Resources.
Third Year (law student) Practice Rule volunteer, NC District Attorney's Office
Volunteered/ practiced in three different District Attorney's offices under the third year
(law student) practice rule in helping prosecute those charged with Misdemeanors in
North Carolina/ Had my first NC Superior Court jury trial in Forsyth County while a third
year law student .
Legal Internship, Dare County Attorney's Office -Researched real property tax
foreclosures for the County of Dare.
Court Intake Officer - summer internship, NC Adult Probation and Parole- Interviewed
those convicted of crimes being placed on adult probation.
