Huebner, Jr., Ph.D., as Director of Institutional Effectiveness, and Gene Laminack, CPA, as Chief Financial Officer. Huebner’s oversight responsibilities as they relate to institutional effectiveness include working with key performance indicators, accreditation, student outcomes, strategic planning, program evaluation, training, and research. He comes to Shelton State from Logan College of Chiropractic, where he served as vice president of enrollment management with oversight responsibilities including admissions, financial aid, career development, student services, academic support and tutoring services, counseling services, athletics, recreational sports, student activities and student leadership. Huebner holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and English from Southwest Baptist University, a Master of Arts in Speech Communication from the University of Georgia, and a Ph.D. in Speech Communication from the University of Southern Mississippi. His career has also included positions in enrollment management and as an instructor at Carson-Newman College, William Carey College, Southwest Baptist University, and the University of Georgia. Laminack brings 20 years of experience in financial leadership from public and private business environments. As the CFO he is responsible for the leadership, management, and oversight of the College’s financial operations, accounting, fixed asset inventory control, budgeting, investment, purchasing and disbursement, restricted funds (grants) accounting, vendor contracts, and risk management. He comes to the College from Dover Environmental Solutions Group, where he served as vice president for integration. Oversight responsibilities throughout his career have included financial planning and operational analysis, credit functions, information technology, sales, service, and overall management leading to profitable change for companies with national and international interests. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Alabama and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Georgia. “I am excited that these individuals have joined our team,” said Shelton State President Dr. Mark A.
