You will learn more easily in a teaching environment which favors that dimension. *If your score is between 9-11, you have a very strong preference for one dimension of the scale. You may have difficulty learning in an environment which does not support that preference. The Index of Learning Styles is an instrument used to assess preferences on four dimensions (active/reflective, sensing/intuitive, visual/verbal, and sequential/global) of a learning style model formulated by Richard M.
