Development New Visualization, animation, simulation etc. can provide enormous help in understanding, particularly those concepts which are difficult to see or imagine. This will value add for both the student and the teacher thereby improving teaching learning processes. In the 1st phase, a sample chapter from Chemistry for class XI was taken up. From the project we have been able to develop a model for on line support to the curriculum. The present project will adapt this model to the entire Sr. Secondary curriculum in Chemistry. The product which will be in form of a linked set of web based resources be deployed on the NCERT website. The web sections will be interactive and seek feed back from the users. 4. Specific Objectives: • • To identify and map digital resources to supplement the textbook To develop an interactive forum for teachers and students to enrich the textbook The process involves identification of digital resources, mapping them with appropriate concepts and integrating these resources into an online repository.
