List the 6 to 8 assessments for each program in the box provided for Program Assessments. Examine the data collection for each program. Be sure to review both the fall and spring data collection. Answer the following questions for each program assessment placing the information in the appropriate column: o What does the data indicate for your program? o What areas of concern if any do you have regarding this assessment? o What recommendations do you have regarding any revisions for this assessment? o What program changes if any does this data suggest? 3. Save the template as a Word document and submit it to the NCATE Assessment Committee via a D2L dropbox provided in the Accreditation-NCATE link by April 9th . Consider ways to incorporate Classroom Management into block courses. Majority of items related to Content Knowledge were rated at least once as Developing each semester. Evaluate Content Knowledge specific criteria for alignment to block courses and content courses. Other items rated at least once as Developing were often related to classroom management/on-task behavior Majority of completers achieve a rating of Target or Acceptable in all categories. The following two areas were ranked at least once at Developing or Unacceptable for both semesters: Knowledge of Students’ varied approaches to learning. Incorporate instruction on IAP projects into Instructional Techniques courses and Assessment courses. Fall 2014 Fall 2014 Align new disposition report to IAP rubric to determine if there are any gaps in opportunities to observe, report, and remediate any developing skills. Clarity of criteria and standards for performance. Portfolio Showcase / Interview All completers received a rating of Target in all areas of the Portfolio Showcase. The majority of completers received a rating of Target or Acceptable in the Portfolio Interview. As per last year’s Fall 2014 recommendations, the interview questions were provided to the field students prior to starting their placement. However, opportunities to participate in mock-interviews are still needed. In addition, the daily lesson reflections should reference specific skills/activities from the interview questions.
