Subject: Request for sending Training Needs for Teachers Training Programme
The Department of Education in Science and Mathematics, NCERT has planned to
organized training programme for Mathematics teachers teaching at Upper Primary and
Secondary levels. The programme will be organized sometime during November 2012 –
February 2013. The training will be based on the material developed by DESM i.e. Exemplar
Problem Books, Laboratory Manuals and Source Book on assessment besides the textbooks of
Upper Primary and Secondary levels in Mathematics.
A proforma developed to find the training needs of teacher is enclosed herewith.
Interested teachers and teacher educators are requested to send their suggestions in the given
proforma about their training needs (including practical work/activities) to the Department
through Post/E-mail/Fax given below:
